Driver Skills Development Program
Learn crash avoidance and skid control with our RMV-certified Driver Skills Development Program. Our DSDP is an in-class and in-vehicle advanced driver program and part of our police, fire & emergency EVOC Training. DSDP, also known as SKIDZSchool, is FREE with CMSC Driver’s Ed. Non-students, adults, and parents are also welcome.

Get the best in-car training on our “skid track” at CMSC’s headquarters in West Boylston, MA. One of 2 skid tracks in the state, you’ll get to practice steering, skid control, off-road recovery, and crash avoidance from a veteran instructor. Our instructors will carefully monitor your progress and safety at all times.
Insurance Discounts
After successful completion of CMSC’s Driver’s Ed lessons and SKIDZ School, you could be eligible for up to 10% off of insurance for 5 years!
Each Driver’s Ed course offers a SKIDZ School class that is included into the package.
The Driver’s Ed package includes:
30 hours of classroom training
6 hours of driver observation
2-hour parent class (Must be taken before Road Lessons can be started)
1-hour training behind the wheel in our Skidz School program
12 hours of road lessons
After completing all components, you will be road test ready.
