📘Learner’s Permit

• Visit the RMV Learner’s Permit
• Fill out the Learner’s Permit application
• Book your RMV appointment
• Get your code to take the test at home

👉Upload your permit to the Student Portal and enter the details exactly as shown—permit number, issue date, and expiration date.

👨‍👩‍👧 Parent Classes

• Book your parent class in the Student Portal
• Was the parent class taken at another driving school for an older sibling? If so, upload copy of the certificate in student portal

📅 Parent classes are valid for 5 years

Before Your Lesson:

• Bring your Learner’s Permit (required for driving + observations)
• No flip flops or sandals
• Arrive 15 minutes early

Avoid Fees:

• Cancel 24+ hours in advance to avoid late cancel/no-show fees
• Late arrival may be considered a no-sho

Training Structure:

• 1 lesson per week (7-day spacing recommended)
• Practice between lessons is critical

• Learner’s Permit not uploaded in portal
• Classroom or Parent Class not complete
• Balance not under $250

Practice Requirements (MA Law):

• 12 hours driving with CMSC
• 6 hours observing another student
• 40 hours supervised practice at home
