Hi, I’m Jake Cooney, the proud owner and CEO of CMSC Driving School (Central Mass Safety Council). With over a decade of experience in driver education and a strong background in leadership, I have dedicated my career to building a comprehensive, community-focused driving school that prioritizes safety, expertise, and confidence on the road. I started my journey in the Driver’s Ed Industry with a vision: to protect and improve the lives of others, one driver at a time. To do this we’ve had to create a school that not only teaches the essentials of driving but also prepares students for real-world situations. Today, CMSC Driving School offers a broad range of services, including Teen Driver’s Education, CDL Training, Adult Driver Training, Fleet Training, Adaptive Driver Rehabilitation, and Motorcycle Training. We also provide classes in Spanish, ensuring our community's diverse needs are met with top-tier instruction. As the owner of CMSC Driving School and CMSC Parker Professional Driving School, I’m passionate about empowering students of all ages to become safe, skilled drivers. CMSC’s mission is to offer personalized training that fits each student’s unique needs, whether it’s passing the road test on the first try or launching a new career as a certified commercial driver. Beyond running the school, I take pride in building a team of expert leaders and instructors who share my commitment to student success. Together, we’ve expanded CMSC's reach throughout Massachusetts and continue to provide innovative training programs that adapt to the ever-changing demands of driving in today's world. When I’m not helping students hit the road with confidence, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring new technologies in driver safety, and giving back to the community through outreach at schools that need it most. I look forward to continuing to grow CMSC Driving School and help even more people in Massachusetts and beyond to achieve their driving goals!
