Dreams of hitting the road often start with our first toy car. If you’re in Massachusetts and eager to make this dream a reality, your journey begins at 15 years 9 months when you are able to start driver’s ed. When you turn 16 you can acquire your learner’s permit.

At CMSC Driving School, we’re dedicated to molding students into safe, vigilant, and responsible drivers. Our goal is to enhance awareness, boost confidence, and ensure a deep understanding of the road’s laws and regulations.

Essential Information

To embark on your driving journey in Massachusetts, here’s what you need to know:

  • Age and Residency: You must be at least 16 and a resident of Massachusetts to apply for a learner’s permit.

  • Testing: You’ll need to pay the test fees and pass the learner’s permit test to move forward.
